If you enter “Worst airlines” into a search engine, you will probably get NordWind first in the ranking. We have not encountered worse airlines in the last 10 years.
1. The first thing we encountered was PAID online registration! WHAT? Since when does it cost money to register for some unknown airline? I’ll say even more - choosing a simple place costs from 1.080 rubles!!
2. THERE IS NO FOOD on board the plane! Again, this is the first time we have seen this! The flight was 4 hours, fortunately it was at night, but still not particularly pleasant. Written off for a night flight.
3. Looking ahead, I’ll say that in electronic tickets they write: On board you will be offered soft drinks." Under this beautiful name lies WATER! And nothing more! Shock is an understatement. But the airline tickets also say: For a flight of more than 3 hours you Meals MAY BE offered. Of course, there is NO food on board! Even when returning already on the day. By the way, on St. Petersburg-Moscow flights the flight takes about an hour (!) and at the same time you will be offered a variety of drinks and sandwiches. But here it’s 4 hours flight and satisfy your hunger with free water.
4. We flew on the flight Antalya - St. Petersburg, apparently on a rented plane, because there were NO marks on the body. To be honest, it’s hard to call this creation an airplane. It was an old air minibus! Terrible chairs!5. Weight standards are greatly underestimated! Hand luggage is not 10 (like all over the world), but only 5 kg!
6. Well, the last and most unpleasant thing - when planning a vacation, they chose the evening time, so that they had a whole day left. Initially the departure was at 18.40. Yesterday after dinner we went to the reception to check the time of departure from the hotel and saw 4.55. WHAT? The airline decided to fly at 10.00! What is this even called? However, we did not receive any notifications by email!
And here, of course, food played a special role - dinner is over, we don’t get to breakfast, departure is 4.55, departure is 10.00, arrival is 14.30. And the airline doesn't care at all!
This is "service". And at the same time, they are the only ones who have arranged paid online registration!
We are simply in shock.
Really avoid it, since with a huge selection of airlines, such “service” is simply unacceptable.

I used North Wind Airlines only once, and today’s review will be dedicated to it.

My husband and I urgently needed to fly out of Mineralnye Vody to Moscow. After quickly monitoring YandexAvia, we chose the cheapest flight option. NordWind Airlines or, translated into Russian - North Wind. We bought tickets at 11 am and were scheduled to depart at 5:55 pm. Closer to departure time, we see that the flight has been postponed to a later time. Having asked an airline employee “why and what’s the matter?”, we received the answer that our plane had broken down and another one was flying. OK, waiting. It is worth noting that we Immediately provided clean bottled water , for that a huge plus!

We took off almost three hours late. A new plane was brought in to replace it. Thank you for this.

More or less comfortable chairs. The knees did not rest against the seat in front, but were even a little loose.

Throughout the flight, the flight attendants repeatedly apologized for the flight delay and were smiling and friendly.

And now we are on board, the flight is about 2 hours. The girls started handing out paper bags (you never know if you get seasick). The service is standard, drinks first, then a light snack. We were so tired that we passed out almost instantly, but somehow miraculously I woke up during the distribution of dinner, when the flight attendants were already far behind us with their cart. From here we extract the minus - if you are sleeping, then sweet dreams to you, no one will wake you up and you will remain hungry ! They handed out a sandwich with a thin piece of cheese and the same piece of ham, visible in the light.

The flight was calm, they warned about slight turbulence, but it did not last long. The landing was smooth and good.

I will describe all the pros and cons of the Airline separately.

Pros:

Hand luggage 5/10 kg + baggage 20 kg included in the flight price. There will be no additional payments. Few airlines offer such conditions;

Tickets are cheaper than other airlines;

Warn about flight delays by email;

Promptly distribute clean water to passengers when flights are delayed;

Polite staff;

Smooth landing;

Beautiful name.

Minuses:

Judging by the reviews on various resources, delays are their normal practice;

There were no napkins on the headrests;

Paper bags for “surprise” are handed out at the beginning of the flight, but what if I get sick during the flight? where to run, what to do? On other airlines they are in the seat back pocket in front of you.

If you are sleeping, they will not wake you up and will drive by with food;

Tasteless food;

They didn't offer blankets;

The airline employee did not weigh the luggage; it was also not examined at the airport itself at the security check area. Safety first, where is it? We walked through with deodorants and perfumes in our carry-on luggage.

In the Conclusion there is simply a cry from the heart:

People! Please! When landing, the plane is moving along the runway and the “stay seat belt” light is on, sit down! No need to jump up and crowd in the aisle, opening luggage racks and snatching things! Where are you in a hurry? You still have to wait for everyone else and stand on the bus!

Flight N4361 of 10/17/19 is the last flight with this airline; they kept us on the plane for 2 hours without explaining the reason for the delay. The attitude towards passengers is worse than towards animals. full review
