SantaPark opened its doors to visitors only at the end of 1998, and is one of the newest amusement parks in Finland, although due to its location - about 50 meters underground in a cave - you can't call it typical. As the name suggests, the main theme of SantaPark is Christmas. Here you can watch the elf show, Santa's workshop, the Gingerbread Man's kitchen, the elf school and their workshop, Santa's sleigh and his mail. To get to SantaPark, you need to visit the world famous Santa Claus village, and from there a free train will take you underground through the deer park. SantaPark and Santa Claus Village are located near the capital of Lapland, Rovaniemi.
Tykkimäki Amusement Park
The third largest amusement park in Finland is located just four kilometers from the center of Kouvola. There are about 40 different attractions, a large playground for small children, restaurants and shops. Nearby, on the shores of Lake Käyrälampi, there is a well-equipped camping site. There is also an animal farm where children can play with the pets.
Serena
Serena is located in Espoo and is now the largest water park in the Scandinavian countries. There is so much to try here that a full day ticket may not be enough. There are also many outdoor activities including soft slides, two circular rivers, a tower of vines and a kids' quarter, as well as cliffs around the pool where you can enjoy the summer sun.
Visulahti
Located near Mikkeli, Visulahti is one of the most popular family holiday destinations in Finland. Visulahti is divided into thematic sections such as Dinosauria with a variety of slides, cannons, fountains and pools, and Xonpuisto with electric mini cars, ATVs and motorcycles. From bungee jumping and paintball to rodeo bulls, giant swings and even sumo wrestling, you can choose what you want to do here! Visulahti also offers accommodation, camping and an upscale restaurant. The park is open from June to August.
JukuPark Kalajoki
UkuPark Water Park is located right in the heart of the Hiekkasärkät tourist region, roughly halfway between the towns of Kokkola and Raahe. This relatively new water park has several huge slides, which are slides down on circles, special rugs or just like that. In addition to the slides, the park has large pools and lots of sunbathing spots, as well as rides and other amusement park paraphernalia. There are several places for grilling, cafes, kiosks and terraces where you can have a snack or a full lunch and relax.
JukuPark Turku
The expansive outdoor water park JukuPark in Turku is the newest family theme park in Finland. It is conveniently located just 3 km from the city center next to the Impivaara swimming pool and stadium.
The new complex is located on an area of \u200b\u200b2.5 hectares. It opened its doors to visitors in June 2010. Here you will find many stunning water slides, large heated pools and tranquil sun loungers. Like its big brother in Kalajoki, the park in Turku has pleasant grill restaurants, kiosks and terraces for a relaxing family time.
Flamingo Spa
Flamingo Resort is located right next to Jumbo Shopping Center in Vantaa, just 2.5 km from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. It was opened on September 1, 2008. Unlike any other resorts in the Scandinavian countries, the resort's biggest attraction is the Flamingo Spa, which boasts a large water park and spa for the older ones.
Flamingo Water Park was built for the whole family to enjoy. The trump card of this center is the largest and fastest water slides in all of Scandinavia - you climb to the top of the Mayan temple and a dizzying ride begins from there. Other spectacular water attractions include the Wild River, billowing geysers, a flowing pool, a jumping pool and a separate water sports area.
Finnish Carnival (Suomen Tivoli)
If the Finnish Carnival were a permanent amusement park, then it would be considered the fourth largest in the country. However, this is not a park, but a traveling carnival. It is owned by the Sariola family, who have run traveling fairs and circuses in Finland for over a century.
