Metal poles of power lines  (LEP) are designed for the organization of power lines with a voltage of more than 35 kV. These metal supports are the main constructive element of a complex system for organizing high-voltage lines .

  • Intermediate. They are installed on straight sections of high-voltage transmission line (VL). They are designed only to support wires and cables and are not designed for loads from wire pulling along the line.

If the angles of rotation are greater, then angular anchor supports are used, since having a more rigid construction and anchorage of the wires.
  • Anchoring. Are installed on the straight sections of the route for passage through engineering structures or natural obstacles, perceive the longitudinal load from the traction of wires and cables. The anchor supports have a rigid and sturdy construction.
  • End. They are a variety of anchor supports and are installed at the end or the beginning of the line. Under normal operating conditions, they perceive the load from unilateral tension of wires and cables.
  • There are also special supports: transpositional, branching, cross, anti-wind, transitional.
