For home use, of course, such complex detail of accounting is not needed, these functions are necessary for the meter to work in the commercial tariffs accounting systems.

Specificity of electricity metering

The private owner will have to master the taking of testimony from Mercury independently.

As a rule, an ordinary consumer, when connecting an electricity metering device, enters into a contract with a service provider indicating - one-rate (that is, constant and unchanged) or two-part tariff (taking into account day and night time separately). Accordingly, in determining the price of the service for a certain period, the volume of electricity used will be multiplied by the contract price in kW / h, according to the current tariffs.

On the LCD display of the meter, the amount of consumed electricity is displayed for the entire duration of the meter since the installation of the rate you selected. On the left, in front of the number, the letter designation of the tariff you received is displayed - from T1 to T4. If the tariff is unchanged, one-value, then the readings taken are subtracted from the readings for the previous period. Then we multiply the data obtained by the cost of kWh, and we get the amount of payment for the current period.

If we use the exhibition tariff or a few more tariffs, then we press the ENTER button and we see each time we press the tariff code change and the electricity consumption in numbers. Ultimately, the meter will give the total amount of electricity consumption.

Additional features

It is known that for the quality and uninterrupted operation of cable products, it is necessary to observe a certain voltage range of electricity. This is especially true of this type of cable, such as cable VVGNG 3x2.5. To find out the power load, you must press the letter "O". In this case, the meter will show, as usual, on the left - the current rate, and on the right - the data in "kW". If it became necessary to change the time after pressing the "O" button - press ENTER. Each time you press it, the time will be changed one minute upwards. It should be noted that an amendment of more than 30 minutes is not possible.

With the help of Mercury 200 you can compare the data on electricity consumption for the last month. To do this, press the “O” button again (for the third time) and specify the date of the last reading. And the ENTER button will help us to see everything that was spent in the previous period (usually a month, and sometimes two).
