Low-frequency impulse therapy. Impulse therapy

The basis of this method is the ability of electric current (low-frequency impulse currents are used) to stimulate muscles and nerves, resulting in a reduction in muscle fibers. When conducting therapeutic procedures, the effect is on diseased or damaged nerves and muscles, as well as internal organs, which contain smooth muscles (bronchi, gastrointestinal tract) in their walls, and if this is a procedure for correcting the figure - on healthy muscles, as well as on the skin and subcutaneous fatty tissue (through the excitation of nerve endings located in these structures). This method is also used in sports medicine to improve performance, improve athletic performance, faster recovery of an athlete after a forced period of physical inactivity (for example, after an illness or injury).

As a result of the procedures of pulsed electrotherapy, the weakened contractile function of the muscular system gradually increases. Activation of metabolic processes (metabolism) helps to restore the conductivity and excitability of peripheral nerves and accelerate their regeneration. During electrostimulation, there is an increase in the nutrition of the tissues and an increase in the intensity of the energy processes in the organs. At the same time, the nervous regulation of muscle contractions is restored, the strength and volume of muscles, their adaptation to increased loads and endurance increase.

At the same time, peripheral vessels expand, resulting in increased blood flow to them, and, thus, increases the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to those places where there is a shortage. Due to the activation of the blood and lymph flow, the edema of the tissues disappears, their sensitivity is restored.

Multichannel electric pulse therapy is mainly used to solve aesthetic problems. In this method, special devices are used that have several output channels to which a large number of electrode pairs (12/24) can be connected, this makes it possible to influence large areas of the body and carry out the procedure on several problem zones at once.

Multichannel electromyostimulation allows to solve a wide range of aesthetic problems. Since impulse currents have many different characteristics (frequency, shape, amplitude, pulse duration, etc.), by specifying certain parameters to these currents, you can cause special effects characteristic of a given combination of these characteristics (relaxation, lymphatic drainage, lifting, myostimulation, lipolysis ). By combining these modes, you can create individual programs of electropulse therapy to solve specific problems.

The “Relaxation” mode is perceived as a deep vibrating relaxing massage. Most often, this mode starts and ends the program electromyostimulation. This mode prepares tissues for further effects, improves blood circulation, speeds up metabolism in tissues, activates neuromuscular and adipose tissues. Also harmonizes the human bioenergy field.

Mode "Myostimulation" - the people "gymnastics for the lazy." It is fundamental in such problems as weak training of muscles, laxity of muscles and skin, sagging skin, paresis and atony of muscles. This mode simulates the natural work of the muscular system. With its help, muscles are strengthened, fat is burned, local blood and lymphatic circulation is enhanced, and nutrient delivery is intensified. In men - build muscle. There is a restoration of potassium-sodium balance.

The Electrolipolysis mode is indispensable for solving such aesthetic problems as cellulite, local fat deposits, and general obesity. It contributes to the rapid reduction of body volume, improvement of tissue trophism in the area of application, activation of blood and lymph circulation, resorption of edema, leveling of skin texture in problem areas. Also has a sedative and analgesic effect.

The “Lymphatic Drainage” mode is necessarily included in programs for the elimination of cellulite, swelling, obesity, lymphostasis, slagging of the body. It contributes to a more intensive movement of the lymph to the lymph nodes, thereby removing excess fluid, slags, toxins, and fat decomposition products from the body. Also, there is an improvement in venous blood circulation and, as a result, the elimination of interstitial edema.

The "Lifting" mode - contributes to the rapid restoration of muscle tone, elasticity and elasticity of the skin, the normalization of its color and relief. The figure becomes taut, athletic, muscles - strong and resilient.

The combination of these modes gives excellent results in aesthetic programs. Multichannel electro-impulse therapy can also be combined with other physiotherapeutic methods that are used for body correction and body care (ozone therapy, ultrasound therapy, paraffin therapy, pelotherapy, various types of body wraps, vacuum or manual massage).

The main difference of this method from the classical multichannel electromyostimulation is that in the latter case, the electrodes are superimposed on human skin, and with needle electrolipolysis, the role of electrodes is performed by long disposable needles specifically designed for this procedure. They are introduced into the subcutaneous fatty tissue in the most problematic areas and then wires are connected to them using special connectors. The uniqueness of this procedure lies in the fact that the electrodes are in direct contact with fat cells, and due to this, the efficiency of the method increases many times, which is manifested in a more rapid decrease in the volume of the body and the achievement of the desired result. The procedure itself is transferred quite easily, discomfort can occur only at the beginning of the procedure with the introduction of needle electrodes.

  MYOSTIMULATION TWO ELECTRODES (ISOMETRIC GYMNASTICS).

Isometric gymnastics is a selective effect of low-frequency impulse currents on certain muscles of the body (up to individual beams of a specific muscle). If during multichannel electrotherapy several electrodes are superimposed on the body, then in isometric exercises only two bipolar electrodes are used with controlled supply of impulse currents and individual dosing of their strength. In our medical center, this procedure is often used as a treatment. She is prescribed to patients by a neurologist as an element of the complex treatment of diseases of the peripheral and central nervous system and the musculoskeletal system, as it allows her to influence the muscles more selectively and “pointwise”.

But this method is successfully used for body shaping. It is especially suitable for women who want to “tighten” their bust. Stimulation of the muscles of the chest area is quite comfortable for the client. It is noteworthy that a decrease in the volume (weight loss) of such a delicate area does not occur. After the course of procedures, the volume of the mammary gland does not increase, but its contours change, which is especially noticeable in profile. Due to the activation of microcirculation, the turgor and elasticity of the skin are improved, which is especially important in the presence of “stretch marks” on the breast, as they become less noticeable. After the procedure of isometric gymnastics, it is advisable to carry out a light massage of this area with creams containing seaweed extracts. After a full course it is necessary to do maintenance procedures 1-2 times a month.

Microcurrent body massage is a type of microcurrent therapy, one of the most popular hardware methods in cosmetology. Microcurrents are pulsed electrical currents.

The peculiarity of the microcurrent body massage procedure is that special gloves are worn on the hands of the doctor, to which the electrodes are connected. To one glove by one pole, to the other - by the opposite pole. The doctor acts on the body in the form of light and smooth massage movements with both hands simultaneously. In this case, the patient feels a pleasant and relaxing vibration of varying intensity.

As a result of microcurrent massage, there is a significant improvement in metabolic processes (metabolism) in the cells of the skin and muscles - the production of ATP, proteins, lipids and other compounds necessary for the functioning of the cells is accelerated. Due to this, the skin takes on a healthy, well-groomed appearance. Skin turgor is restored, and it becomes taut, elastic and elastic.

Due to the intense lymphatic drainage effect, pastoznost and puffiness of tissues are lost. Disappears heaviness in the legs. The procedure on the legs is especially good for marked vascular pattern and varicose veins.

Under the action of microcurrents, the condition of the aged skin improves - its tone increases, the relief is smoothed, and the color is improved.

Microcurrent massage is an integral part of an integrated approach to solving aesthetic problems, and allows you to achieve excellent results.

Indications for electrical procedures:

  • obesity;
  • diseases of the peripheral nervous system with pain syndrome (neuromyositis, neuralgia, sciatica);
  • diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (functional disorders of the stomach, biliary dyskinesia, dyskinetic constipation);
  • posture disorders;
  • deforming arthrosis;
  • cellulite;
  • flabbiness and atony of muscles and skin.

Contraindications to electrical procedures:

  • acute and subacute inflammatory diseases of the skin and internal organs;
  • gall and urolithiasis;
  • increased sensitivity to electrical current;
  • psychosis;
  • multiple sclerosis.

The duration of the procedure is from 10 to 45 minutes.

The advantage of using physical methods of treatment and rehabilitation over surgery and medication is obvious, because physical therapy does not cause side effects and at the same time restores lost health. Exercise therapy, massage, laser therapy, cryotherapy and, finally, impulse therapy - all these measures are aimed at obtaining a stable positive effect without painful sensations, addiction, or the appearance of allergic reactions.

Impulse therapy  represents the passage of a low frequency direct current through the patient's tissue in such a way that the voltage rises sharply first and then drops sharply with a subsequent pause before the next pulse. Continuous current without impulses does not allow intracellular ions to move so quickly. It is important that during the impulse the cells are excited, the sodium, and later the potassium channels are opened, and the tissues respond with muscle contraction. After that, during a pause, they relax. When tissues receive a low-frequency current in portions, the load on the nervous and cardiovascular systems decreases, while changing the frequency and amplitude alternating currentDoctors can, without surgical intervention, influence the activity of the internal organs, reduce the level of heat generation in the tissues.

During impulse therapy, microcirculation increases, venous and lymphatic outflows expand, and arteriole expands. This effect lasts at least one hour after the procedure.

Scope of low-frequency pulse therapy:

  • various diseases of the central nervous system and related motor disorders (central, peripheral paresis);
  • atherosclerosis of the vessels of the upper and lower extremities;
  • osteochondrosis on neuralgic soil;
  • sports injuries of the musculoskeletal system, atrophy of the muscles of the extremities;
  • myositis, arthrosis, periarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and other diseases of the joints;
  • treatment of chronic diseases of the reproductive system, infertility and impotence;
  • incontinence in children;
  • violation of fat metabolism for weight loss;
  • gastritis, gastric, duodenal ulcers and other diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • chronic pneumonia, bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis.

And this is not a complete list of diseases.

For low-frequency impulse therapy there are devices of both imported and domestic production. Among domestic devices, the Stiotron device meets all international standards, and its effectiveness is confirmed by clinical trials. Before self-use of the device outside the physiotherapy room, be sure to consult with your doctor.

It has long been proven that man is subject to various external biorhythms  (cycles of the year, daily rhythm, individual biological clock) and internal, affecting the general condition of the body. Considering this peculiarity, nowadays a large distribution in physiotherapy has been gained pulsed electrotherapy, which by applying intermittent electrical currents affects the affected organs and skin.

How do electric currents work?

Low frequency currents  (bioelectricity), affecting the nervous system, organs and brain, control all the body's work. If pathological changes and complications occur in it, the circulation of the currents is disturbed. The external impact of impulses on damaged areas gradually restores the natural work of the currents.

Benefits

Impulse therapy It has such advantages over procedures that are influenced by continuous currents, such as gradual adaptation of the organism, similarity with life rhythmic processes, deep impact and more precise selection of the current frequency for effective treatment of a diseased organ.

Types of impulse therapy

Pulse therapy is widely used in the treatment of various diseases. It should be noted that, depending on the shape, frequency and duration of the current, the following therapies are distinguished:

- electric;
  - electrostimulation;
  - diadynamic therapy;
  - electroanalgesia.

In today's world, people, because of the fast pace of life, poor ecology and stress, often suffer from insomnia, undermining their health. In this case, appoint a procedure such as electrosleep. Impulses, penetrating into the structure of the brain, have a calming and inhibitory effect, gradually introducing into the sleepy state. This procedure reduces the pressure, normalizes the nervous system, has analgesic properties, relieves stress, physical fatigue, eliminates the feeling of fear. Electrosleep is often used in psychiatry.

Electroanalgesia, reducing the intensity of nerve impulses, eliminates pain, emotional tension, relaxes muscles, improves blood flow. Indications for use are osteochondrosis, sciatica, various types of injuries, neurasthenia, bone fractures.

Electrical stimulation  prescribed primarily to restore damaged muscles and nerves as a result of illness or injury. The action is achieved thanks to a pulsed current that resumes the activity of organs and the nervous system. During the procedure, a feeling of vibration, tingling, burning, which is easily tolerated by the patient.

In diadynamic therapy, alternation of impulses of different frequencies, penetrating deep into the skin, stimulates nerve endings and muscles, increasing blood flow, speeding up tissue regeneration and relieving inflammation, which leads to a significant improvement in the patient's condition.

Indications for this therapy are very diverse: acute pain caused by osteochondrosis and neuralgia, impaired locomotor system, diseases of the stomach and intestines, inflammation of the lungs and ENT organs, impotence, migraine, etc.

Contraindications to pulsed electrotherapy

Along with the positive properties of pulsed electrotherapy, there are general contraindications:

- purulent inflammations;
  - epilepsy;
  - individual intolerance;
  - acute period of heart disease;
  - multiple sclerosis;
  - thrombosis;
  - urolithiasis disease;
- hypertension;
  - pregnancy.

All techniques pulsed electrotherapy, being effective in therapy, are actively used in complex treatment. Only a specialist can correctly determine which methodology should be applied to achieve the desired result.

The invention relates to medical equipment, namely to low-frequency electromagnetic therapy for the treatment of various diseases, harmonization of the work of organs and increase the body's defenses.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to medical equipment, namely to low-frequency electromagnetic therapy, and can be used to affect the human body weak low-frequency modulated electro magnetic field  for the treatment of various diseases, harmonization of the work of organs and increase the body's defenses.

The technical result is  the ability to provide exposure for the treatment of various organs and body systems. The method of electromagnetic therapy includes the effect on biological active points and biologically active zones by a pulsed electromagnetic field with a intensity of 0.1 V / m2. In this case, the electromagnetic pulses have the form of radio pulses with a packet repetition rate of 0.1-100 Hz, discrete - 0.01 Hz and a carrier frequency of 10-15 kHz. The device contains an antenna device, a power source, a control keyboard, a liquid crystal display, an antenna matching device, a stabilizer whose input is connected to a power source, a microprocessor controller, outputs connected to a control keyboard, a liquid crystal display to display the parameters of the treatment program being executed and to a matching device antenna device. At the same time, the microprocessor controller is configured to memorize up to 1000 treatment programs and generate output pulses with a repetition rate of 0.1–100 Hz modulated at a frequency of 10–15 kHz. Each program includes up to 20 frequencies with a running time of 1 - 4000 s. The essence of the invention is to cause a resonance in organs and systems with the help of a weak electromagnetic field and thereby harmonize the work of the organism.

This technical solution is the logical continuation of work in the field of low-frequency relaxation therapy (NRT), based on the impact of short electrical pulses (from 0.1 to 100 ms) with a current of 0.1 to 100 mA through the electrodes on the biologically active points (BAT) of the human body or on biologically active areas of the human body (BAZ). In most cases, BAT coincide with the classic points of acupuncture (acupuncture) of various schools of traditional Oriental medicine.

Known devices to search for BAT, measure the resistance of BAT and BAZ (according to the Nakatani-Ryodoraku method, according to the method of Dr. R. Voll, etc.) and contact the BAT and BAZ with needles, electric pulses, microwave, UHF radiation, light and laser radiation of various ranges from UV to IR. In addition, these devices are combined with each other and have various names - electrotherapy, EHF-therapy, microwave therapy, percutaneous stimulants, laser puncture, etc.

Common to these devices is the introduction into the BAT and BAZ of energy in various forms and through them therapeutic effects on the human body.

The closest analogue is  a device for generating a magnetic field with a duplicated system and a device for protection against interference (German patent N 4238745, MKH 5 A 61 N 1/16, 2/04, 1994). The device is intended for magnetic therapy with a strong local magnetic field, and then distributed over the surface with a weak magnetic field. In the description there is a property of the matrix to create a strong concentrated magnetic field for a short time and a weak uniform field for a long time. Coils are driven by current generators. A strong concentrated magnetic field creates an excess of energy in organs and systems, which is dangerous in case of cancer.

The technical result obtained by carrying out the invention is  treatment of various organs and systems of the body with a weak electromagnetic field with a frequency of 10 to 15 kHz, modulated frequency in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz with a 0.01 Hz discrete chosen according to the methods of Dr. R. Voll, F. Kramer, O. Clauss, O. Kollmera, Paul-Schmidt and others.

This technical result is achieved due to the fact that  with the help of a weak electromagnetic field in organs and systems resonance is caused and thus the body's work is harmonized. This is necessary in order not to force the authorities to perform functions that are not inherent to them.

Passive electrical properties of biological tissues are characterized by impedance (impedance), the value of which is determined by capacitive and active conductivity with appropriate tissue inductance. The active component of electrical conductivity at low frequencies is mainly due to the amount and electrolyte composition of the extracellular fluid, and at high frequencies, the electrical conductivity of cells makes an additional contribution. Since the resistive resistance of the cells is connected in series with the capacity of the cell membrane, the phenomenon of frequency dispersion of the electrical conductivity of biological tissues is observed. Possessing high dielectric properties and extremely small thickness, bilayer lipid membranes are characterized by high specific electrical capacity. The large value of the charging capacity of the membranes, and consequently, the capacitive properties of biological tissues, are due to the significant polarization ability of the dielectric of the membranes, depending on its relative dielectric constant. At high frequencies, the polarization mechanisms are turned off with a slower relaxation time, therefore, with an increase in frequency, the capacity of the tissues should decrease, as well as with an increase in the dielectric constant.

In the low frequency range, tissue impedance is mainly determined by their resistive properties. This area includes tissues with high electrical conductivity (nerve tissue). The mid-frequency range includes tissues whose electrical properties are determined by both resistive and capacitive properties (parenchymal organs). At high frequencies, the electrical properties of tissues are capacitive in nature (membranes, lipids). Slow polarization mechanisms in this frequency range can lead to significant dielectric losses in the tissues (heating).

Thus, a living cell can be represented as an oscillatory circuit with capacitance and resistance, with the capacitance (membrane) being determined by free radical reactions and the antioxidant defense system, and the resistance by enzymatic oxidation.

The oscillatory circuit has the property of inductance - the ability to excite electricity  in another circuit or closed conductor due to its magnetic moment. The generation of pulses of the electromagnetic field from units to tens of Hz is a characteristic feature of the normal functioning of various human organs.

In the form of an oscillatory circuit, one can imagine not only a cell, but also higher levels of organization of living matter: tissues and organs with different predominance of the pathways of glucose oxidation, organ systems and the whole organism as a whole, induced by an equilibrium system of oscillatory circuits. A body like the liver contains both ways of glucose oxidation in equal proportions, which makes it key in the system of regulation of capacity and inductance of the body.

The circulatory system itself is also a cascade of closed conductors from the loops of capillaries to the large and small circles of blood circulation. The different impedance of venous and arterial blood creates conditions for the mutual influence of organs on each other. The electrical properties of blood are determined by the amount of hemoglobin, oxygen and other cyclic compounds in it, protein-electrolyte composition, and blood flow velocity.
  Thus, the electromagnetic field, considered in the framework of classical electrodynamics, can integrate the work of the whole organism, creating and maintaining the specialization of various tissues. And the circulatory system is the mediator through which the regulation is carried out. The ancient Chinese qi energy circulating in the blood becomes quite real, having its physical equivalent.

Acupuncture relies on the philosophy of ancient Chinese medicine, which treats the organism as a whole, in which each part is subordinated to this whole, and the whole depends on each part.

The qi energy, divided by yang and yin in their constant interaction and dynamic equilibrium, fully corresponds to the described integration based on the oscillating circuit's electromagnetic field, if qi is replaced by inductance, and yang and yin are represented as capacitance and resistor. Then biologically active points (BAT) are additional sources of energy regulation in the form of a nerve coil around the core-vessel, which will generate electromotive force  during excitation of a nerve or weaken when removing excitation from a nerve and vice versa.

Electroacupuncture diagnostics according to Voll makes it possible to assess the degree of equilibrium in the oscillatory circuits of various organs and tissues. D.C  and the voltage given by the apparatus in the diagnostic testing of points of the meridians does not exceed the physiological. Thus, we bring electromagnetic interference into the living oscillatory circuit, which normally should not disturb its equilibrium, and the instrument should be in the middle of the scale.

Increased inductance of the body will give higher numbers when measuring. A slowdown in oxidative processes - low numbers. Quadratic measurements show the predominance of the inductance of the nervous system over other tissues, since in this case they are capacitance in comparison with the resistive properties of the nervous tissue. Obtaining low numbers indicates a decrease in the inductance of the nervous tissue (an imbalance in its oscillatory circuit) or an increased blood inductance for any reason. The fall of the arrow indicates a large self-induction, that is, an exit from the control of the organism.

Electromagnetic oscillations that exist within the living organism itself, only partially depend on the vibrations that exist outside the organism. Although the body's own vibrations are excited by fluctuations of external EMFs, but then they are formed in the body again in a specific form. Each organ and each cell has its own specific spectrum of vibrations, its specific characteristics of these vibrations (shape and appearance, as well as frequency). The maintenance of these oscillations depends on the "quality factor" of the resonator of the cell, organ, tissue, or organism as a whole. If the "Q-factor" of the resonator is broken or absent, incoherent, inadequate, pathological electromagnetic oscillations may occur. In the case when the mechanism of self-regulation and recovery existing in the body is not able to destructurize these fluctuations, a disease occurs.

Specific reactions of the human body to the effects of an artificial electromagnetic field (EMF) were detected only when switching to ultra-weak low-frequency intensities in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz EMF (when the field strength induced inside the body was significantly less than 0.1 V / cm ).

It should be noted that at an external field strength of the order of 10 V / m, it is practically impossible to experimentally measure the field values induced inside the body. They were obtained by calculation and ranged from 10-8 to 10-7 V / m. The presence of an organism's response to such small field strengths does not contradict the generally accepted physical estimates based on the signal-to-noise ratio. Indeed, since the control of physiological processes is carried out using super slow waves, i.e. processes with a bandwidth of about 1 Hz, then resistivity  nerve tissue R300 Ohm / cm; the intensity of thermal noise is 10–9 V / cm, i.e. an order of magnitude lower than the above values of tension.

When comparing the effects of artificial and natural low frequencies in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz of EMF on a person, it should also be taken into account that the effect of artificial EMF is carried out for a short time, its duration is much less than a person's life; the impact of natural EMF is carried out continuously throughout life. In this regard, it can be expected that to obtain a therapeutic effect when exposed to artificial EMF, its intensity should be higher.

To explain the effect of low frequencies in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz of EMFs on humans, it was suggested that the systems of meridians and acupuncture points (TA) can be receptors on EMF. Since all known hypotheses about the role of TA were limited to an abstract theoretical consideration of their purpose, to test the assumption made, experimental studies were carried out to detect low frequencies in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz of electrical signals in the areas of TA skin projections. The search for such signals was carried out on the basis of the following considerations.

In accordance with the principle of antenna reciprocity, any structure that receives EMFs can also emit EMF in the same frequency range. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to detect electrical signals in the low-frequency range in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz in the cut-off areas of the TA.

In the process of experimental studies in these areas were detected low-frequency electrical signals having the maximum amplitudes at a number of discrete frequencies in the range from units to tens of Hz. In addition, weak low-frequency emissions in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz EMF, which also have a discrete spectrum in the range up to tens of Hz, were recorded above the surface of the body in these zones. It was found that when the sensor is displaced from the TA area, the amplitudes of the received signals decrease sharply; The spatial distribution of signals in the TA zone is anisotropic. In neutral parts of the body, the observed signals had a noise character and their amplitude was 5-10 times smaller than in the TA zones.

The experimental data obtained can reasonably be considered a confirmation that the receptors-receivers of electromagnetic fields in the frequency range from units to tens of Hz are TA and the system of meridians. Naturally, for effective reception of low frequencies in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz of EMF, a bioobject should have quite a few receptors spaced along its body to the maximum possible distance. These requirements are respected in the meridian structures of TA in all living organisms. Consequently, it can be assumed that the meridian structures of the TA are systems of discrete receiving elements. Each such discrete structure is associated with one or another functional system of the body and provides independent reception of synchronizing low frequencies in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz EMF.

A strong oscillation of systems with weakly suppressed natural oscillations, if they are excited by relatively weak external forces with a frequency that is equal to or almost equal to the natural frequency of the system, is called resonance. The essence of the invention is to cause resonance in organs and systems with the help of a weak electromagnetic field and thereby harmonize the work of the organism. This is necessary in order not to force the authorities to perform functions that are not inherent to them. Thus, we avoid the effect of overdose. Since diseases of the organs can be caused by different reasons, it is necessary to use different systems of the body for treatment, i.e. sets of frequencies. Thus, the treatment program should consist of a set of frequencies, each of which acts a predetermined time, causing resonance in the desired organs and systems. Low-frequency electromagnetic therapy causes resonance phenomena, but at the same time the energy introduced into the body is so small that it does not cause an overdose effect, and this is especially important for the treatment of cancer patients.

The block diagram shown in the drawing reflects that the device consists of the housing 1, in which the power source (battery) 2 is connected to the microprocessor controller 4 through the stabilizer 3. The microprocessor controller 4 is connected to the control keyboard 5, the LCD indicator 6, the interface unit with the computer 9 and matching device 7. A matching device connected to the antenna device 8.

The device of low-frequency electromagnetic therapy works as follows.

A person from the control keyboard 5 turns on the device and dials the treatment program on the keyboard or on the computer through the interface unit with the computer 9. (The program can consist of one or several frequencies in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz. For each frequency, a time in the range from 1 to 4000 s is set). Microprocessor controller 4 remembers the entered program. (The number of programs that microprocessor controller 4 stores and stores, from 1 to 1000). After that, it directs the antenna device 8 to the biologically active zone and includes the execution of a treatment program. The microprocessor controller 4, performing a given program, generates packets of radio pulses (in the range from 0.1 to 100 Hz) with filling sound frequency. These packets of radio pulses are fed to the matching device 7 and through it to the antenna device 8. At the same time, the parameters of the microprocessor controller 4 program being executed are displayed on the LCD 6. At the end of the specified program, the device automatically turns off. The treatment is based on resonance phenomena, and not on forcing organs to perform functions that are not inherent to them. That is why electromagnetic therapy devices cannot overdose or exacerbate the disease. If the frequency introduced causes a resonance, then the body needs it and there is a healing effect. If there is no resonance, then there is no therapeutic effect. And as a result of this, it is impossible to harm this device.

3. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that it introduced a computer and an interface unit with a computer connected to the controller.

In medical practice, 3 different types of impulse currents are used.

1. Rectangular Pulsed Current  (formerly it was called Leduc current) with a pulse duration of 0.1 to 1 msec and a frequency of 10 to 100 Hz.

This type of current is used to treat electrosleep. In this case, the bifurcated electrode in the form of glasses is placed on the closed eyes and connected to the cathode of the apparatus, the second forked electrode is placed in the region of the mastoid processes and connected to the anode of the apparatus; current strength in the amplitude value of 8-15 ma, the frequency of the pulses from 10 to 80 Hz, the duration of 0.2-0.3 ms. Procedures are usually carried out every other day (every day) after breakfast, in the supine position of the patient, in a darkened room while keeping silence. The duration of the procedure at the first exposure is 15-20 minutes with its subsequent increase up to 1-2 hours (after the patient falls asleep, the current can be turned off); for a course of treatment 12-20 procedures

2. Pulsed current triangular triggered  (tetanizing current, before faradic current); the duration of a single pulse 1-17 g msec, frequency 100 Hz.

3. Exponential current with pulses a slowly increasing and more rapidly falling form of the curve (formerly the Lapika current) with a pulse duration of 3 to 60 msec and a frequency of 8 to 80 Hz.

In pulsed current treatment, exposure periods alternate with rest periods of irritated muscles: in this case, the amplitude of impulses in each exposure period smoothly increases from zero to the highest magnitude and then also gradually decreases to zero.

When used for electro-gymnastics tetanizing current or current of exponential form (depending on the results of electrodiagnostic studies), the electrodes are placed on the motor points of the muscles.

When exposed to striated muscles, ordinary electrodes are used for galvanization with an area of 4-6 cm2, and when exposed to large muscle groups - with an area of 50-100-200 cm2.

The strength of the current in the amplitude value of the pulse is chosen so as to obtain visible muscle contractions, without at the same time causing the patient discomfort, usually up to 10-15 mA. Procedures lasting from 15 to 30 minutes are carried out every other day (daily), for a total of 15-20 procedures per course of treatment.

4. Diadynamic currents introduced by P. Bernard in medical practice are of the following types:

A) single-ended fixed current with a frequency of 50 Hz;

B) fixed push-pull current with a frequency of 100 Hz;

B) a current of a short period, when a single-cycle current with a period of 1 second alternates with a two-stroke current of the same period duration;

D) the current of a long period, when a single-cycle current with a period duration of 3 "/ g sec alternates with a two-stroke current with a duration of period b7 g sec.

A current is supplied to the patient by two round or plate electrodes using a wet gasket. Procedures from 4 to 8-10 minutes with a current of 3-15 mA are carried out daily (every other day), distributing this duration to the various types of current used; just a course of treatment from 6 to 10 procedures.

5. Interference currents (Nemec currents) are obtained as a result of the imposition of a sinusoidal current. constant frequency  (4000 Hz) per sinusoidal current of varying frequency within 3900-4000 and 3990-4000 Hz. When applying a current of one frequency to a current of another frequency, the modulation can occur either with a constant or with a rhythmically changing frequency (ranging from 0 to 100 or from 0 to 10 Hz) with a period of 15 seconds.

To supply the patient with current, two separate pairs of electrodes are used, usually used in galvanization. With each pair of electrodes, a sinusoidal current of different frequencies is supplied (for example, 3900 and 4000 or 3990 and 4000 Hz). Electrodes, depending on the place of exposure (usually 50-200 cm2) are placed in pairs on the skin in the area of soft tissues so that the object of impact falls at the point of intersection power lines  current from both pairs of electrodes (mutually perpendicular or diagonal).

Procedures with a current of 5-25 mA lasting 10-30 minutes are carried out every other day (daily), for a course of treatment 12-20 procedures.

6. Sinusoidal modulated current is a sinusoidal current with a frequency of 5000 Hz, modulated by sinusoidal oscillations of low frequency (ranging from 10 to 150 Hz). To reduce the adaptation of the organism to such influences, currents modulated by continuously alternating frequencies (at 150 Hz within 10 + 150 Hz) are used with separate adjustment of their duration within l-5 seconds; alternation of modulated current oscillations with pauses, as well as modulated and unmodulated oscillations is also possible.
